Leadership Day
Thursday, April 23, 2020
2020's Leadership Day information will be forthcoming.
Leadership Day is a unique opportunity to welcome parents, business partners, and educators from other schools to come learn about and see our school’s unique leadership model, as well as to provide an opportunity for our staff and students to share their leadership insights and experiences with those who attend our Leadership Day. We will be joined by guests to share all of our work with the 7 Habits and our commitment toward being a Leader in Me school. Participants gain a better understanding of the 7 Habits and how they are incorporated into our daily learning, witness student achievement through data notebooks and discover the joys of being a Leader in Me school. Faculty, students, and staff will help plan and organize the day, decorate, greet adults, give presentations, share their academic and personal goals, and much more! This is a wonderful opportunity to let our students truly shine!
Your experience will include...
- Registration led by students
- An introduction to the Leader in Me
- Immersing yourself in our Leadership culture
- Presentations from students and guests
- Student led classroom visits
- An opportunity to experience how LIM has influenced and impacted our school
- Note to DSE Parents: Leadership Day is an opportunity to see how leadership is being grown across the entire campus. Your registration does not guarantee that you will be joining a tour that visits your child's classroom. Tours are assigned randomly. We would love to have you visit us on Leadership Day, but we do ask that you plan to remain with your tour group in order to provide a fulfilling experience for all of our students who are anxiously awaiting visitors.
We hope that you'll be able to join us!
